Edd Critic's Commentary on Arizona's
Immigration Bill
As an American citizen, it is really insulting to me that everywhere I turn we are catering to illegal immigrants. It seems as though we are more worried about their well-being and their civil rights when they don't even have rights because they are out here legally. Ironically, I come from a family who have lived here many generations.
I am held to the laws of my nation. In retrospect, I have committed crimes doing the only thing I knew how to do in order to support my family. I was caught, arrested, put into prison, and served my time. Many illegal immigrants come to our country for the same exact purpose; wanting to create a better life for their family.
For that reason, I am not angry nor do I blame them, but the simple fact that they are breaking laws coming here is wrong. As an American citizen, I feel insulted that they are not being held to the same rules of law as I an many other American citizens are everyday.
This is my comment on the issue with Arizona's Immigration Reform Bill and its impact of natural-born citizens as well as the Latino community
